  1. Short:    Stop WBStartUp progs from running

  10.       NoWB allows you to boot your system without the loading of any programs 
  11. in the 'WBStartup' drawer.  It's useful when you want to save memory and also
  12. load the WorkBench.
  13.  
  14.       I decided to do this, since every time I selected 'Boot With No 
  15. Startup-Sequence' on the Early Amiga Startup screen and typed 'LoadWB' on the 
  16. CLI, the OS load every program I had on the 'WBStartup' drawer as usual, which
  17. some of them asked for some stuff on the ENV: and T: devices (which are not 
  18. mounted at this moment, of course 8) )

  21.    New on v2.0:

  23.      · Now everything is done automatically on booting by it. You just have
  24.         to hold down the right mouse key until some color stripes appear
  25.          on the screen, meaning that the WBStartup drawer is "disabled"
  26.  
  27.      · The old Shell mode usage from the 1.0 version is still available
  28.  
  29.      · There's no need to specify the seconds delay in order to get it
  30.         working on slow HD's anymore !!! Due to a cleaver programming, 
  31.          you can have the world's slower HD and use my program nicelly;
  32.           Nice if booting from floppy (argh !)

  34.      · The conflict with the PFS file system was "solved". On v1.0 it 
  35.         seemed to unvalidate the boot partition if was run from a PFS
  36.          boot partition ... I found it very strange, since NoWB only
  37.           does OS legal stuff (read AmigaDOS commands ;)

  39.          *Now* everything if working with PFS.

  41.        BTW: When testing v2.0 with PFS, I run again the v1.0 and this
  42.             time I didn't got *no problems* ... NoWB1.0 behaved normally
  43.             with PFS !  So I'm wondering if I really did a correct 
  44.             installation of it by the time I tested with NoWB1.0 ...

  50.     This program requires at least OS2.xx. Anyway, it would not be of any 
  51. use to users of previous OS, since the WBStartup thing was only implemented
  52.  on OS2.xx and above.
